CalligrAbility is a creative space for Calligraphy, Lettering and Crafts enthusiasts of all abilities. It is a space to enjoy, learn and quest our passion for beautiful writing.
Our specialisms include Typography, Lettering, Calligraphy and Handwriting. We embrace their differences, celebrate their variations and take advantage of their best features.
Together we will have the opportunity to develop our skills, ignite our creativity and be introduced to the life work of prodigious fellow calligraphers and masters.
Finally, we intend to grow together and become better people, calligraphers and crafters.
With a degree in Graphic Design from the University of La Plata, Argentina, I worked in print production and logo design until I moved to the UK in 1999.
I have always had a special interest in Typography and Calligraphy, and gradually the latter took over. In 2016, I focused my career on teaching and producing calligraphy work.
I co-founded Love Calligraphy where we worked with brands that included Jo Malone, Clinique, Molton Brown and La Mer.
Now, I work independently from home to better fit my work around my family life. My efforts are fully behind the CalligrAbility initiative.
I am on the committee of the Calligraphy and Lettering Arts Society (CLAS), and the North West Calligraphers Association (NWCA). I am a member of the Society of Scribes and Illuminators (SSI), the South London Lettering Association (SLLA) and Sussex Scribes.
I am the editor of the Copperplate Special Interest Group‘s newsletter and its Representative on the committee for CLAS.
I love travelling and attending calligraphy classes around the country. Meeting fellow calligraphers and great masters keeps my motivation high and enriches my work.
